Alright, let's try and sweep up the cobwebs on this thing... Here's something that might be relevant to the current sermon book (James)

"Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our heats at rest in his presence whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our heats, and he knows everything."
1 John 3 : 18-20

In line with the idea of faith alive, I think this is rather relevant to us as we go about our day to day lives. Haven't we so often seen in movies/drama serials 2 characters going on and on about how much they love each other, only to break up 15 minutes later for some silly reason? But here we are commanded not just to say love, but to DO love.

"What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him?"
James 2 : 14

We show our faith in God, and our love for Him through the little things we do to His people. It could be simply talking to someone who seems to be left out during worship. Or maybe helping to pray for one another. Or maybe sparing some time to help someone else with their homework. Anything goes, as long as it's your service to God born out of a heart of faith and love.

"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me'"
Matthew 25 : 40

As the body of Christ, we are called to support each other, treating our good works toward each other as a service unto God. As has been mentioned at this morning's service, "We are not making a sacrifice, we are repaying the debt we owe".

"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."
Galatians 6 : 2

PLHers!

Prinsep Lighthouse (PLH) is the youth ministry of Prinsep Street Presbyterian Church. It’s meant for all youths aged 13-18 years old to come together every Sunday for a fellowship as well as to worship God and learn more about Him.PLH is on every Sunday from 11am to 12.45pm. On usual Sundays, we have worship time from 11-11.30am. During worship, we sing songs of praise to God.

After which the youths will break up into their respective groups to do a Bible Study for the rest of the time there. These Bible Studies are led by Mentors, who are really nice and fun people and are very knowledgeable and helpful as well. While doing Bible Studies, we share about our life too! Our joy, our pride, our problems, our challenges..and through this, we make loads of great friends!!
