well, my time in the youth comm is almost over, so i guess i'll be posting less here from now onwards. so lucky hor all of you. actually why doesn't the rest post more often? the only reason i post is because i don't see anyone else posting and i have to keep this blog alive! lol. as if i don't have my own blog to write on.
ah well anyways, hope to see all of you in church tmr and come and get your christmas card from me!!:)

there's no more gift exchange for the christmas party and also remember to bring along your Bible and writing materials (pen and paper/notebook).

sorry this camp is really last minute and we only prepared for it in two weeks so everything is really rushed.
hope you guys will like the camp anyway and it's not about the activities but it's about the people participating:)

oh by the way, some of us are thinking of going to the zoo this sunday after 845 service since there's no plh lol. but we're not sure yet.. it's more expensive on sundays i think.. will confirm asap haha.

hey guys!
the plh christmas retreat is this friday. please come to church at 4pm!
the retreat will last til saturday night at about 10pm.

please bring your bathing stuff and extra clothes. there will be outdoor games too. i don't think there are wet games, but you'll be sweaty.

we don't really want a theme or dress code for the party on sat night but please wear something nice because we'll be taking photos.
advised: girls to wear dress and guys to wear formal shirt and long pants/jeans and shoes.

and we don't have a boy-girl with roses thing. if you heard there was one, as of now, there isn't one. hahaha.

bring a sleeping bag to sleep on too.

and most important please come with a good attitude! be ready to jump at the worship and stuff. reach out to the pri6s, etc...

report friday 4pm in church. will end on sat night with a christmas party(:
this is like a really last minute thing cos the mission trip got cancelled and we now only have less than 2 weeks to prepare for this, so please give us your support!
the pri6s will be coming too and this camp is to welcome them into our plh family so remember to reach out to them!
the tentative name for the camp is "No Holds Barred" and it's only for those who are really ready, enthusiastic and not half-hearted to do God's will. seriously.

Prinsep Lighthouse (PLH) is the youth ministry of Prinsep Street Presbyterian Church. It’s meant for all youths aged 13-18 years old to come together every Sunday for a fellowship as well as to worship God and learn more about Him.PLH is on every Sunday from 11am to 12.45pm. On usual Sundays, we have worship time from 11-11.30am. During worship, we sing songs of praise to God.

After which the youths will break up into their respective groups to do a Bible Study for the rest of the time there. These Bible Studies are led by Mentors, who are really nice and fun people and are very knowledgeable and helpful as well. While doing Bible Studies, we share about our life too! Our joy, our pride, our problems, our challenges..and through this, we make loads of great friends!!
