Parents-Youth Forum
Dear PLHer,
The purpose of this upcoming parent-youth forum is to serve as a bridge to closer communication and understanding between parents and youths. In order to ensure that it will be helpful and meaningful time of interaction for all, your responses to the following questions are appreciated. There is no need to state your name. Furthermore, there is no need to discuss your responses with your parents, siblings, or other PLHers. Therefore, in this anonymous setting, you may be truthful and specific in presenting your responses from your own perspective.
Please submit this response form to Uncle Darryl next Sunday, 15 March.

1. What imageries come to mind when you think of your parents? For instance, a mother hen who cares for her young? An ATM machine that dispenses cash? Someone whom you can only meet by making a prior appointment? A school disciplinary master?

2. What are some core issues (e.g. time management, BGR, favoritism, freedom of choice, money, etc) over which you often have conflicts with your parents? Share specifically why this is an important issue to you and how you will want your parents to understand the issue from your perspective.
3. What are some other challenges in relating to your parents? This is a free response question, but do state the challenge specifically. For instance, it is too general to say that you hope that your parents can be more understanding. Rather, state why you think they are not understanding and how you think they can be more understanding.

Prinsep Lighthouse (PLH) is the youth ministry of Prinsep Street Presbyterian Church.
It’s meant for all youths aged 13-18 years old to come together every Sunday for a fellowship
as well as to worship God and learn more about Him.PLH is on every Sunday from 11am to 12.45pm.
On usual Sundays, we have worship time from 11-11.30am. During worship, we sing songs of praise to God.
After which the youths will break up into their respective groups to do a Bible Study for the rest of the time there.
These Bible Studies are led by Mentors, who are really nice and fun people and are very knowledgeable and helpful as well.
While doing Bible Studies, we share about our life too! Our joy, our pride, our problems, our challenges..and through this,
we make loads of great friends!!
