Heres the only other nice little quote from the back of my classroom. This shall be dedicated to Yiying because its her birthday today. So heres to a happy seventeenth birthday! (Sorry if it's irrelevant, I don't know everyone well enough to post really relevant issues.)

Live in the present, and make it so beautiful
it will be worth remembering."

I'm guessing that everyone is or will be starting to feel the stress of exams, prelims, O levels and any other academic and non-academic expectations. While it is natural to feel stressed and worried about what lies ahead and what you have already done, lets not be tied down by these worries. Instead, lets focus on the present, and live it to the best of our ability such as to "make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering."

In Matthew 6 Verses 33 and 34, it is written "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." What this means is that if we put God's word and wisdom FIRST in our life, he will set everything in its own place. We need not worry about tomorrow because God has already seen it and will make it perfect for you if you seek him first. If you go to him in prayer and commit the future to him, he will make it perfect for you. And on the same note, remember that God's perfect may be different from ours, so just live out each day and see what God has in store for you!

Prinsep Lighthouse (PLH) is the youth ministry of Prinsep Street Presbyterian Church. It’s meant for all youths aged 13-18 years old to come together every Sunday for a fellowship as well as to worship God and learn more about Him.PLH is on every Sunday from 11am to 12.45pm. On usual Sundays, we have worship time from 11-11.30am. During worship, we sing songs of praise to God.

After which the youths will break up into their respective groups to do a Bible Study for the rest of the time there. These Bible Studies are led by Mentors, who are really nice and fun people and are very knowledgeable and helpful as well. While doing Bible Studies, we share about our life too! Our joy, our pride, our problems, our challenges..and through this, we make loads of great friends!!
