And heres another poem. This one's dedicated to Keng Gene because its his birthday today. Happy thirteenth birthday, with many more to come! (Again, sorry if what I'm posting is irrelevant to you, I don't know everyone well enough)

Everyone has their own circle of friends, and that's good. But while we enjoy the company of our best friends, let's not forget to look out for others as well. There may be other people around who are lonely and in need of company, or maybe sad people who need cheering up, depressed people who need a listening ear, the list goes on. Let's be good friends and look out for these people and responds to their needs.

I'm sure we all have heard of the parable of the good samaritan (Luke 10 Verses 25-37). Verses 36 and 37 say "Which of these three do you think was a neighbour to the man who fell into the hands of robbers? The expert in the law replied, 'The one who had mercy on him' (and) Jesus told him 'Go and do likewise'". The word 'mercy' can probably be substituted with 'kindness' here, and the word 'neighbour' can probably be substituted with 'friend'. When we look out for people who need help, when we show kindness to others around us, we are being good friends to them. And come on, everyone loves good friends, right? So let's try and look out for those around us, and in doing so we will make new friends and do what is right in God's sight.

Prinsep Lighthouse (PLH) is the youth ministry of Prinsep Street Presbyterian Church. It’s meant for all youths aged 13-18 years old to come together every Sunday for a fellowship as well as to worship God and learn more about Him.PLH is on every Sunday from 11am to 12.45pm. On usual Sundays, we have worship time from 11-11.30am. During worship, we sing songs of praise to God.

After which the youths will break up into their respective groups to do a Bible Study for the rest of the time there. These Bible Studies are led by Mentors, who are really nice and fun people and are very knowledgeable and helpful as well. While doing Bible Studies, we share about our life too! Our joy, our pride, our problems, our challenges..and through this, we make loads of great friends!!
